Products Policy

Product specifications, details, etc

Whilst the Company will make every endeavour to deliver the goods and services as they are advertised or displayed online or within any other Company brochure actual dimensions, images, specifications and quantities may in certain circumstances vary from those so advertised and supplied. The Company reserves the right without prior notice to vary the specification of any goods without any liability to the Customer arising directly or indirectly from any such variation but the Company will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the goods are as near as possible to the goods as specified.

Warranty

All goods and services sold by the Company are warranted free from defects in materials and workmanship. If the Company shall receive a written complaint from a Customer in respect of goods found to be defective in respect of materials or workmanship only within the manufacturers warranty period, the Company, after it has had a reasonable time to investigate the same and examine the goods or service in dispute shall be entitled at its option to repair or replace the defective goods or services, or refund the purchase price. No claim will be entertained in respect of any goods or services which have been repaired or altered in any way or have been the subject of any accident or damage caused by any innocent, wilful or negligent act or omission of the Customer its employees or agents or through use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions by the Customer, its employees or agents or by circumstances beyond the control of the Company or goods or services which cannot be shown to have been supplied by the Company. The Company offers a 'No Charge' collection repair and delivery service for faulty computer hardware products under these warranty provisions but reserves the right to make a charge where no fault is found. This 'No Charge' collection and delivery service applies to the UK mainland only. For products returned from outside the UK mainland the Customer is responsible for all transport charges to and from the Company's premises and for any charges and duties levied on importation and for compliance with HM Customs and Excise Regulations in all respects on importation and re-export. Payment Policy

Orders

An acceptance of orders from the customer made by System Development Services Group (“the Company”) shall be a contract of sale subject to our terms and conditions which shall prevail over any other document or communication from the Purchaser with whom the company is dealing (“the Customer”). The Company accepts an order when the Customer submits identification, delivery and payment details. The order shall not bind the Company until the Customer accepts these terms and conditions, which are deemed accepted if the goods are sent for delivery.

Payment terms

Unless otherwise expressly stipulated by the Company, Credit Account invoices are due and payable in sterling 30 days from the date of the invoice.

  • If an invoice becomes overdue for payment the full outstanding account becomes overdue and payable. The Company may charge interest at 5% above the base rate of HSBC Bank prevailing from time to time on overdue amounts. Payment shall be deemed to have been received only when the full amount of the value of the goods or services as invoiced has been credited to the Company's bank account without recourse as cleared funds or the Company has received the full amount in cash.
  • Unless otherwise states credit or debit card payments will include an added 2.5% surcharge.
  • Payments taken for items out of stock will be held to enable immediate shipment of your order as soon as the stock becomes available.

Payment Currency

All payments are taken as GBP (Great British Pounds £), any prices shown do not include associated service charges such as standard or next day delivery. Payments may be made online using credit and debit cards only, other payment options including cheque and postal orders must be posted to the address shown below.

  • By Checque, please make cheques payable to System Development Services Ltd in GBP (£) drawn on a UK bank.
  • By Postal Order, please send postal order payments to the address shown below.
  • By Credit/Debit cards, we accept payment by Mastercard, VISA, Delta, SOLO, Switch, Electron

Dispatch & Delivery Policy

Carriage, post and packing

Charges are made for all delivery options and will be invoiced to customers at the listed rates which will be confirmed and displayed on acceptance of the order by the company. Below is a basic outline of our delivery charges for goods under 10kg. For details of delivery prices outside UK and Eire please contact us.

Our standard delivery charge is £9.50 for next day delivery.
Our standard delivery charge is £6.00.

UK Mainland

Overseas
  • Shipments overseas are quoted on a case-by-case basis as they vary greatly by weight and destination. Please note that delivery timescales will also vary for overseas shipments.
Please call us for products over 10kg (prices may change without notice).

Working days defined as Monday to Friday, and delivery next day subject to order being placed before 3.30pm, credit clearance and stock availability. Northern and Southern Ireland are scheduled next day deliveries however cannot be guaranteed

+ We are unable to guarantee next day delivery for some areas of Scotland. Please contact us for specific regions.
• Consumables is defined as printer cartridges, optical media and paper. This charge applies to single line orders for these products only in mainland UK only.

Delivery Time

An order's delivery time is the time it takes to get to its destination after leaving our dispatch.

Delivery is dependent on the delivery options you choose and the destination address.

  • if you order an item with 24-hour availability and choose for it to be delivered to a UK address using our next day service (which takes one business day), it should arrive two days after you place your order.
  • if you order an item with 24-hour availability and choose for it to be delivered to an address in Western Europe using Airmail (which takes 3-5 days), it should arrive 4-6 days after you place your order

Note: delivery time is not the total time it will take for your order to arrive. Total time is also dependent on the availability the item/s in your order.

Orders containing more than one item

If you place an order that contains more than one item with different availabilities you may wish to split the order into more than one delivery so that items with long availability don't delay those with a short availability.

Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy

Our 30-day Product Returns Guarantee

Our 30-day product returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item--see Our Refunds Policy.

Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect

Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges --see Our Refunds Policy.

In the event of System Development Services Group sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return the item to System Development Services Group provider within 30 days. System Development Services Group reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 30 days of the date on which the System Development Services Group confirms the issue of a replacement.

Refunds

This section describes how we calculate refunds and outlines our policy on refunds. Some notes about refunds:

  • When you send your item back to us, we'll process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within three weeks of our receiving your return.
  • If the return and refund notification is not received after four weeks from the day you sent us your return, please contact us for further assistance.

Note: System Development Services Group cannot generate refunds for items purchased from third-party seller. Only your seller can generate a refund.

Return of damaged, defective or incorrect Items

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and we'll reimburse your costs in returning it to us.

Return of items within the seven-day cooling off period

By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. For more information see details of your statutory rights at: http://www.dti.gov.uk/ccp/topics1/guide/homeshop.htm

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

  • where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred
  • where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred
  • we will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK

We will not refund delivery and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

Return of items under our 30-day returns guarantee

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between seven and 30 days after delivery, and there has been no error on our part, we will not refund delivery and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
